Rain

Yey! Someone talks about my stress reliever! 🙂

Thoughts Awakening

Rain- Sometimes, just the small drops or the heavy water fall leaves clear vision for people to observe the nature’s aspect..
Rain connects with individuals at an emotional level as it is often taken joyfully by people whose hearts are content with happiness. While others whose eyes are filled with dry tears of sorrow may take rain as a gloomy weather. It’s the dual perception which represents two different expressions towards the nature’s occurring. Some see rain as a blessing, a reason of rejoice, while for some it may act as a curse. Rain enhances the emotions one is going through, either happiness or sorrow. It lets one feel the nature& connect it with their current emotions..

P.S: Share your thoughts about rain& how you connect with it.

Intrapersonal Blues

Today, I can finally say that I’m  not people-smart.

I’d rather work alone than discuss with a group of people I don’t know well. Of course closest friends are exceptions.
Does it mean I’m selfish?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

But I think it’s just the way I am, and I may try to get along with others, but I’d surely love to  just work on my own.

My friend Himali  at https://decodinghappiness.wordpress.com/ and Arts and Rhymes  at http://artsandrhymes.me/ invited me to try the five-day photo challenge. You can visit their blogs and enjoy :3

“Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”.

Viera’s Lullaby

Wish I could still play that song tonight,
Though only you could sing it right.
Coz I find it hard to close these eyes,
And try to escape life’s lies.
Come and let the music kiss my ears,
And never ever would I care about fears..

With A Smile

image

Isn’t it a lovely day?
Shades of yellow
and blue fill the air.

The warm breeze
gently blows onto your skin.
A touch of bliss,
And cure,
For a broken wing.

With one real smile,
And sun-kissed skin
Feeling the ocean
That hugs me in peace.

The waves are humming,
A lovely tune,
Hushing my fears,
Soothing my whole being..

With a smile,
He captured the moment.
With a smile,
I captured every beat.

I don’t actually write anything in particular, but whatever comes to mind or felt by my heart. Pardon me, I’m in a training while writing this poem. 🙂

Who We Love To Hate – Interactive Poetry

I admit I’ve been waiting for this and now I’m happy about it 🙂 Thanks Blair!

People, Things, and Life

Viera Reign (https://thoughtsofagirlnamedvierareign.wordpress.com/) gave me the words fear, love, like, and irony for my interactive poetry.

A lot of people claim to hate a person or group because of something they are or believe in, but what does that hatred stem from? Many times, it’s not the hatred of the person, but of their bravery for standing up for something that the other person is too afraid to accept.

Sometimes the iron
in the irony hits hard.
It’s no longer funny-
you’ve gone too far.

You take someone
you have never met
and laugh them away
like they don’t matter a bit.

You say that they’re weird,
stupid, and dumb
but you don’t know
where they’re coming from.

This indifference felt
by the people who judge
aren’t really that much different
there’s a reason for that grudge.

Sometimes the people
we love to hate
mirror our fears

TO THE MAN I LOVE

Maybe one day, he’d read this and would just smile without uttering a single word.

Maybe he’d tell me, I’m kinda melodramatic for writing this, but duh, it’s okay.

For there are things  I can’t say.  Maybe I’m just shy, or afraid to do so.
But I can surely write about it, inside my head, inside my heart, or on a paper.

There are just things I couldn’t say, but I could write about.

So here it goes,…..

—-

To you,
Who have held me all night
While humming a song,
I love you.

To you,
Who have handed me a piece of candy
Whenever I cried,
I love you.

To you,
Who told me I’m the best
When I didn’t believe in myself,
With no words,
But a silent smile,
I love you.

To you,
Who worked all day and night
To give me the things I need,
I love you.

To you,
Who are miles away
But have always been by my side
And inside my heart,
I love you.

To you,
Who never showed any weakness,
But was trembling in fear inside
For every single day,
That you didn’t see us grow,
I love you.

To you,
Who let me see
That I can still trust a man,
Despite my fear,
I love you.

To you,
Who never said ‘I love you’
But spelled it out,
I love you.

To you,
Who showed me
The greatest love I could have,
I love you.

To you,
Who I can never thank enough
For all the things you’ve done,
For all the things you’ve said,
Or have not said,
I love you.

To you,
Who I have always loved,
Though I never did tell you
A single word,
I love you.

To you,
Who have always been the greatest man,
The greatest silent friend,
The greatest fan,
The greatest F.A.T.H.E.R.,
I love you.

And if one day,
You get to read this,
I hope you’d smile,
I hope you’d feel every word.
I hope you’d be happy.
I hope you’d see,
You’re one of a kind,
Someone I’d never regret to have
Someone I’d never cease to love.
You’re the man I love.

To the boy named Armo

Sitting silently,
with the back of my hand
under my chin

My eyes falling
despite the loud music
all around me.

I must have not come,
I regretfully say
under my sleepy breath.

I took a deep sigh,
felt my head
trembling in boredom.

One, two, three,
how many times I yawned,
I couldn’t count it exactly.

Then there came
another set of band,
the one we’ve been waiting.

The front man says hello,
the drums on the beat,
the guitars go rocking.

My eyes flew open
at the sight of you,
you kept strumming the guitar.

While the vocalist sang,
you did your thing,
and you amazed me.

Wow —
was the only words
I could utter.

You look so great,
play so great,
head bang so great.

I couldn’t take
my eyes off of you —
you were all that mattered.

Your black shirt,
your black pants,
and your long black hair.

The way you felt the music,
the way those deep dimples
marked their place.

I didn’t know
that you exist,
but now I do.

Your name
was a beautiful song
to my ears.

Armo
that’s how they call you,
but I’d like to call you mine.

But no matter how I wish
the night wouldn’t end,
the show ended.

You all turned
your back at us
after the farewell song.

But until now
I can still picture you
in my head.

One day,
someday,
I’d see you again.
